This week, IU was a guest in a “Special Entertainment” segment of SBS’s “Good Morning” wherein she talked about the influences that made her decide to enter the music industry. In the segment she revealed that her father really influenced her a lot when she was younger, she shared that her father loved singing a lot and remembered that she always listened to music with her dad when she was young. They would even visit the karaoke often together which really gave an influence to her.
IU also mentioned another factor that made her decide to become a star by adding that when she was in her first year of junior high, one of her teachers suggested that she should perform at her school’s athletics’s competition. When she set foot on stage, she then realized that she truly wanted to be a singer and that’s when she started searching for auditions.
Viewers even praised her efforts at such a young age and expressed that she was really a well-rounded artist and not just a one-hit wonder.
